Iz kompanije Toshiba nam stižu dva noviteta prvi je HD-DVD pisač za laptopove i drugi novitet predstavlja 12,1" Portege R500.
HD-DVD pisač nosi oznaku SD-L912A i poseduje 8 MB bafera dok prema navodima iz kompanije može da radi čak 60 hiljada časova i dimenzija je 128 x 12.7 x 126 u milimetrima dok je težak 170 grama. Očekuje se da će se pojaviti u drugoj polovni godine.
