Ubisoft je objavio da Blue Byte radi na ekspanziji za The Settlers: Rise Of An Empire. Empire of the East će ponuditi igračima novu klimatksu zonu (Indija), profesiju (geolog), heroja, građevine… Empire of the East bi trebao da stigne u prodavnice tokom marta 2008.
