The loose controls make overshooting turns an easy thing 
to do. It's generally best to let go of your turn button 
a little early to put yourself into the right position. 

Knowing when to use weapons and power-ups is a key point 
to success. Items such as dynamite and oil slicks are best 
to use when you're in first place, and want to stay there, 
whereas things such as the homing missile and temporary 
invincibility are items you'd want to use to take out 
people ahead of you.
