Besplatan Internet za škole
Ministar prosvete Žarko Obradović i generalni direktor Telekoma Srbija Branko Radujko potpisali su danas protokol o uvođenju Internet pristupa u sve osnovne i srednje škole u Srbiji. Cilj ove akcije je podsticanje edukacije i informatičke pismenosti dece i omladine.
Telekom Srbija će svim osnovnim i srednjim školama u Srbiji obezbediti korišćenje ADSL priključka maksimalne brzine 16 Mb/s u narednih pet godina po simboličnoj ceni od jedan dinar mesečno.
“Mi smo prvo ministarstvo koje će predstavljati elektronsku celinu, jer ćemo u narednih 6 meseci povezati u jedan sistem sve osnovne i srednje škole u Srbiji. Brzi protok Interneta povećaće i ubrzaće razmenu informacija u obrazovanju i podići na viši nivo informatičku pismenost”, rekao je Žarko Obradović.
Akciju će podržati i predsednik Srbije Boris Tadić koji će doprineti da akcija bude kompletirana nabavkom neophodne opreme za upotrebu Interneta. U Srbiji oko 41% domaćinstava ima računar, a oko 33% koristi Internet. Samo 8,6% školaraca kompjuter koristi za obrazovanje, a samo 11% ih koristi Internet.
