GTI Racing opis
U poslednje vreme sve je više proizvođača automobila koji uz pomoć različitih razvojnih timova širom sveta plasiraju simulacije vožnji zasnovane na sopstvenim modelima automobila. Bilo je dosta naslova takve tematike od NFS: Porsche Unlimited pa do Alfa Romeo Racing, a ove jeseni nemački Volkswagen je rešio da nas takođe obraduje jednim naslovom ove tematike. Ono što je bitno napomenuti za ovaj podžanr igara, je to da ih odlikuje osrednja igrivost i ne baš sjajna grafika, tako da su meta ovakih igara uglavnom hard-core fanatici, dok su ostalim igračima ovakve igre dosađivale nakon dva sata aktivnog igranja. Da li je GTI Racing još jedna igra koju će igrati samo ljubitelji Volkswagenovih automobila? Vreme je da otkrijemo.
Iskreno, kada sam prvi put ugledao ovaj naslov, prišao sam mu sa dosta skeptičnosti, jer sama pomisao da ću tokom cele igre voziti kola istog proizvođača me je blago rečeno smorila (pogotovo nakon neprekidnog igranja FlatOut 2). � ta je tu je, rekao sam sebi, i pokrenuo instalaciju igre. Razvojni tim koji se bavio izradom igre je Techland, poznatiji kao tvorac Xpand Relly-ja. Prvo što me je razočaralo po ulasku u igru je meni, koji izgleda nedovršeno, a muzika me je potsetila na stare arkadne vožnje od pre desetak godina. Opcije su standardne, tu je career mod pod nazivom “racing series”, u kome počinjete sa dna imajući novca za najslabije modele. Napredovanjem kroz igru kupovaćete sve jače i jače modele. Tu su još i single race, multiplayer… Međutim kada budete odabrali jedan od automobila niže klase (u kojima se nalazi legendarna Buba u par varijacija i Golf I) i startovali igru primetićete prijatan smešak na vasem licu, no elem o tome ćemo malo kasnije da govorimo.
Konstitucija igre me dosta podseća na Juiced a i sam meni je urađen u tom ružnjikavom stilu. Automobili su podeljeni po kategorijama, kojih ukupno ima 7 i to su: standard, attraction, expenses, initiation, progress, devotion, addiction i extreme. Ovoliki broj klasa je suvišan i svi modeli bi mogli da stanu u maksimalno 5, a ne 7 klasa. Ovo pre svega govorim zato sto ćete za vreme igre imati priliku da vozite samo Bubu (staru i novu), Golfa (od I do V), par koncept modela i to je to! Ono što popravlja utisak je činjenica da će te moći da vozite bukvalno sve vrste ovih modela (od standardnih pa do bolid verzija). Stvar koja je takođe prisutna, i skoro se podrazumeva u svakom novijem naslovu je takozvani pimp mod, u kome će te moći da izmenite vašu zlu mašine. Moći ćete da birate od svakog dela po par varijanti koji će sasvim lepo “leći” na vašu VW zver. Sam izbor je poprilično ograničen i pruža utisak da je tu čisto reda radi. Utisak koji ostavljaju ove modifikacije je osrednji, međutim kad budete pritisli dugme start race, shvatićete da GTI Racing ipak ima šta da ponudi! Grafika je blago rečeno odlična, modeli automobila su odrađeni do perfekcije kao i okolina koja vas okružuje. Vidi se da su se momci iz Techland-a zaista potrudili i odradili odličan posao. Ono što će vas još više obradovati je mogućnost oštećenja, kako sopstvenog modela tako i okoline. Možda nije na nivou FlatOut 2 ili TOCA-e ali je prisutno i lepo uklopljeno u igru. Tako da ukoliko ne budete bili pažljivi vrlo je verovatno da će vam mašina preći finiš liniju kao auto zreo za otpad. Ono što ide uz odličnu grafiku je izuzetna neoptimizovanost igre. Na mašini na kojoj Quake 4 na maksimalnom nivou detalja sa Anti-Aliasing 4x u rezoluciji 1024×768 radi dosta pristojno, GTI racing štuca na medium nivou detalja i bez Anti-Aliasing-a! Tako da ukoliko želite da doživite GTI Racing u punom sjaju, trebaće vam više nego jak računar.
Muzička podloga koja prati igru je prilično loša, nakon 5 minuta slušanja poželećete da odete na audio i utišate je do kraja (iskrena preporuka). Zvuk motora je solidno odrađen, kao i zvučni efekti koji će vas pratiti tokom igre (pucanje šoferki, ulubljivanje vrata i slično). Nakon katastrofalne in-game muzike nećete više puno obraćati pažnju na zvuk jer će vam biti isključen i zamenjen nekom pesmom iz omiljenog vam audio plejera. Staze po kojima će se odvijati trke su korektno odrađene.
Staza nema puno i uglavnom će se trke odvijati na istim regijama sa malčice izmenjenim putanjama. Moram istaći da je igra izuzetno igriva, verovatno zbog solidnog AI-a (mada ukoliko ne budete pravili greške ostavljaćete konkurente daleko iza sebe) i odlično odrađene fizike. Reakcije automobila se primetno razlikuju od modela do modela, tako da ukoliko budete uleteli preterano oštro ili prerano u krivinu nemojte se iznenaditi ukoliko budete završili na krovu odnosno zakucani o neku banderu. Zaista, svaki model se jedinstveno ponaša na stazi i na svakoj podlozi na kojoj se bude nalazio reagovaće na sebi svojstven način. Ono što je takođe veliki plus je odličan multiplayer režim u kojem ćete sa prijateljima verovatno igrati ovu igru dugo, dugo u noć. Tako da se može reći da GTI Racing ima svetlu budućnost u tom pogledu.
Techland je napravio solidan naslov, koji ima dosta potencijala, ali zbog pojedinih elementarnih grešaka (loša muzička podloga, neoptimizovanost, nedovršenost menia) uskratili su ovom naslovu šansu da zasija u svom punom sjaju. Još jedna stvar koja kvari njegov put do vrha je to da su ponuđena samo Volkswagen-ova vozila, a poznato je da današnji gameri više žele da se voze u Ferrari-jima, Lamborghini-jima itd. Tako da će na kraju igru opet igrati hard-core fanatici i zaljubljenici u Volkswagenova vozila (a kojih ruku na srce ima dosta). Sve u svemu GTI Racing je dobar naslov koji zaslužuje svačiju pažnju i koji će bez obzira na pojedine greške naći svoje mesto na polici gamera.
