AMD A64 X2 65nm, Kuma i Lima
Kompanija AMD je ovoga meseca predstavila dva nova modela Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane procesora pod oznakama 4200+ i 5600+, radni taktovi će im biti 2,2 Ghz odnosno 2,9 Ghz. Pored ova dva procesora AMD će u prvom kvartalu naredne godine predstaviti dva nova člana Brisbane familije procesora. Jedan će nositi oznaku BE 2450 čiji će radni takt biti na 2,5 Ghz. Kuma je novo ime za AMDove procesore zasnovane na K10 arhitekturi koji su pre nosili oznaku Phenom X2. Poznato je da će se dva modela Kuma procesora naći na tržištu u drugom kvartalu 2008. čije će oznake biti 6050 i 6250. Procesori sa oznakom Lima će se pojaviti već u januaru mesecu dok će drugi i poslednji za sada najavljen Lima procesor biti dostupan krajem druge polovine 2008.
