Čovek koga svi znamo (a verovatno i mrzimo), režiser Uwe Boll je konačno doneo odluku da odustane od visokobudžetnih adaptiranja igara u filmove. Posle katastrofalnog debakla BloodRayne i Alone in the Dark, film rađen na osnovu Dungeon Siege univerzuma je (očekivao) prošao slično – u snimanje je uloženo 70 miliona dolara, a zarada do sada iznosi mizernih 3 miliona. Kako je izjavio, od sada će se držati niskobudžetnih projekata kao što je film po igri Postal i ratni film Tunnel Rats.
